Questions?
We've Got Answers

At the end of each module, students will be required to complete one project, which involves related writing and conceptual thinking skills. In total, the course includes 10 assignments that all count towards the final result of the student.

Once the writing assignment has been completed, and e-mailed to the lecturer, a written assessment will be sent to the student to provide feedback, and the module will be considered complete.

Absolutely. You have direct communication with your tutor for the duration of the course. The more questions you ask, the more you will get out of the course.

You will get lifetime access to the course. You will also benefit from future updates and improvements to the course.

For the majority of our courses, only your tutor will see your work. It will remain completely private unless you get it published. The journalism courses might see your work published in the public domain, but you do have the final say as to whether or not this happens.

Students will receive a Writers College Certificate upon successful completion of the course, provided they meet the following conditions:

  • Students must have completed all 10 projects

An application is usually approved within one working day. Once we receive proof of payment, your can start your course.

You could be starting your course today!

  • Reading time: 10 hours
  • Writing time: 20 hours

Once your application has been approved, you will receive notification of approval and an invoice via email. As soon as we receive proof of payment, the first module as well as your tutor’s email address and your login details will be sent to you. Your tutor will also be in touch to welcome you.

Any work created on our courses is owned by you. We will never make a claim to anything you produce. We follow the rule that copyright subsists with the creator (you).

'The course was well structured and the content relevant to the industry I want to get into. The feedback after each assignment was invaluable because it helped me reflect on my strengths and weaknesses. I felt supported at each stage and feel more confident as a copywriter as a result.'

Got More Questions?

We would love to help you choose the best course for you. Tell us what style of writing you want to develop and we'll give you some options.

If you aren’t completely sure of the differences between Copywriting, Copyright and Writing Copy, read on and make sure you are considering the appropriate course:

Copywriting

Copywriting is the act or occupation of writing text for the purpose of advertising or other forms of marketing. The product, called copy or sales copy, is written content that aims to increase brand awareness and ultimately persuade a person or group to take a particular action.

Copyright©

Copyright refers to the legal right of the owner of intellectual property. In simpler terms, copyright is the right to copy. This means that the original creators of products and anyone they give authorization to are the only ones with the exclusive right to reproduce the work. This is a legal area and has little to do with writing.

Writing Copy (aka Body Content)

Broadly defined, copy is text within a publication or composition. Consider articles in magazines and blogs and content in non-fiction books, newsletters etc. If you want to write this sort of content, you should look at our Journalism courses.

Our Refund Policy

If within seven days of starting your course you are not happy on your course, we can either transfer you to a different course or provide a full refund.

If you request a refund after seven days and before 30 days we will charge a 5% administrative fee, as well as any bank fees and tutor fees already incurred.

We do not offer a refund after 30 days on the course.
